Prior to treatment
- Females drink 8 – 10 eight-ounce glasses of water daily for 72 hours prior to treatment.
- Males drink 10 -15 eight-ounce glasses of water daily 72 hours prior to treatment.
- Avoid Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory products and fish oil for 5 days prior to treatment and three days post-treatment.
- No prolonged sun exposure and absolutely no sunburn two weeks prior to treatment.
- No Retin-A or other topical retinol, glycolic or salicylic acids, or benzoyl peroxide for 72 hours prior to treatment.
- Wear comfortable clothing with an open neck.
Post Treatment
- After 24 hours, you can wash your face with a gentle cleanser and warm water.
- Apply only products recommended by your aesthetician.
- Avoid exfoliation or use of Clarisonic brush for three days post-treatment.
- Avoid the use of AHAs, BHA’s or retinol for five days following treatment.
- Avoid swimming for 14 days and strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours.

PRP is derived from your blood that we draw immediately before each treatment.
Before a PRP treatment, blood is collected in the same fashion as any blood draws into two to three PRP tubes. Next, the blood is placed into a specialized centrifuge designed to separate PRP from red blood cells. After centrifugation, PRP is drawn into a syringe. PRP is injected into the face using a MesoGun or a special technique by hand.
The areas of the face that can be injected include but are not limited to: cheeks, temporal hollows, tear troughs, nasolabial folds, the jawline and chin.
The entire procedure takes about 45-60 minutes (this time does not include the time for topical anesthesia if needed).
